New Orleans in Pictures

We have all the more with New Orleans, Louisiana, met in recent years, some of us visited the city before the year 2005. Perhaps you felt during Marti visit grass or have visited an agreement. But you have really enjoyed their sights, sounds and history? Did you ever get to know the City of New Orleans on a personal level?

Have you visited museums have a part of their culture, you looked through one of these images poundslately? If not, well, of course I'd like you to turn to one of the best books that tourists ever hope to own;

"New Orleans, A photographic journey" by Suzi Forbes, Crescent Books, New York 1991.

This is by far the cleanest photographic picture book of New Orleans that I have ever seen, and it was well before the 2005 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season, which Hurricane Katrina, which caused the dam on Lake producedPonchatrain doomed to fail and flood the city to ruin. The first 10-pages of the book tells the whole story of how New Orleans came in the first place. The whole story of how the French built the city and how the French Quarter was a legend.

The influence of Spain was also very interesting, actually the whole story, Spanish, French and United States influences have made a fascinating mix of culture, architecture and monuments. You will not believe that thePictures in this book. Perhaps it is why this book is one of the most beautiful books in the series, "A Photographic Journey" and it's definitely one of the best too.
